Brenda Chunga, known online as "Bitcoin Beautee," was one of HyperFund's most prominent U.S. promoters, publicly touting its "memberships" and "passive rewards." The SEC said she received more than $3.7 million from the scheme. [1][2]

Chunga pleaded guilty in January 2024 to one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and wire fraud and settled the SEC's parallel civil charges (consenting to a minimum $3M judgment, with disgorgement/penalties to be set). [1][2]
