Juan Tacuri, of Greenacres, Florida, was one of Forcount's most successful promoters, hosting lavish events to recruit mostly Spanish-speaking investors and spending proceeds on Florida real estate and luxury goods. [1][2]

Tacuri pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in June 2024 and, on October 15, 2024, was sentenced to 240 months (20 years) — the statutory maximum — plus one year of supervised release and ~$3.6 million in restitution and forfeiture. [1][2]
